Antieke saucière met aangehechte onderplaat – P. Regout Maastricht, ca. 1836–1890

Deze antieke saucière is vervaardigd uit wit geglazuurd dik keramiek en voorzien van een aangehechte onderplaat. Onderaan draagt het stuk de merkstempel P. Regout Maastricht met nummer 2 en het ingedrukte cijfer 35, een blindstempel die gebruikt werd in de beginjaren van de fabriek (1836–1890).

Ondanks haar leeftijd verkeert de saucière in een zeer goede staat. Er zijn enkele verkleuringen zichtbaar in het glazuur, voornamelijk op de onderplaat en de binnenzijde van de kom. Hier en daar zijn scheurlijntjes aanwezig, maar er is geen afschilfering. De kom zelf is aan de buitenzijde bijna perfect bewaard, met slechts een kleine scheur aan de bovenkant van het oor.

Prijs: €35 – De vroege datering, de merkstempel van P. Regout en de goede staat maken dit tot een bijzonder collectiestuk.

Antique sauce boat with attached underplate – P. Regout Maastricht, c.1836–1890

This antique sauce boat is made of thick white glazed ceramic and features an attached underplate. The underside bears the P. Regout Maastricht factory mark with number 2 and the impressed number 35, an early blind stamp used during the first decades of the factory (1836–1890).

Despite its age, the sauce boat is in very good condition. Some glaze discolouration is visible on the underplate and inside the bowl. Minor hairlines appear here and there, but there is no chipping. The exterior of the bowl is almost perfectly preserved, with only a small crack at the top of the handle.

Price: €35 – The early dating, the P. Regout mark and the good condition make this a distinctive collectible.
