Deze taartschotel behoort tot de iconische Obernai‑serie van Faïencerie Sarreguemines, een collectie die sinds het begin van de twintigste eeuw het Elzasser dorpsleven verbeeldt in keramiek. Het decor is gebaseerd op het werk van Henri Loux (1873–1907), illustrator en lithograaf, wiens tekeningen sinds 1904 de visuele identiteit van Obernai bepalen.

This cake plate belongs to the iconic Obernai series by Faïencerie Sarreguemines, a collection that has depicted Alsatian village life in ceramics since the early twentieth century. The décor is based on the work of Henri Loux (1873–1907), illustrator and lithographer, whose drawings have defined the visual identity of Obernai since 1904.
