Kleurrijk keramisch koeienbeeld met hartmotieven – Colourful ceramic cow sculpture with heart motifs – ca. 2000

Colourful ceramic cow sculpture decorated with unique heart motifs – ca. 2000

This hand-painted ceramic cow sculpture is a cheerful and highly decorative artwork that immediately attracts attention through its vibrant colours and imaginative design. The figure has been carefully painted in a playful patchwork composition of geometric panels, each featuring its own unique decorative theme.

The body is divided into colourful sections, every one displaying a distinctive heart motif. Some hearts take the form of floral patterns, while others are combined with stripes, dots and playful fruit-inspired decorations. This variation creates a lively visual composition in which no element is repeated. Black outlines separate the individual sections, producing a stained-glass effect that adds depth and rhythm to the overall design.

The head is painted in a bold red colour and complemented by bright yellow horns and matching red ears. The legs further enhance the playful appearance of the sculpture. Two legs are blue, one is red and one is yellow. The yellow leg carries an additional heart motif, highlighting the attention given to even the smallest details.

The artistic style is intentionally imaginative and non-realistic. Rather than aiming for natural representation, the sculpture celebrates colour, creativity and visual expression. The result is a decorative artwork filled with energy, charm and individuality.

The piece remains in excellent condition and retains its original gloss, vivid colours and fine painted details. It is an attractive addition for collectors of colourful ceramics, animal sculptures and contemporary decorative art.

Price: €30 – The hand-painted finish, expressive colours and unique patchwork heart decoration make this an appealing and affordable decorative object.
