Deze vintage ochre plateel pitcher with flowers is een imposante schenkkan uit de 20e eeuw, vervaardigd uit bruin gevlekt okergeel plateel aardewerk. Het stuk is rijkelijk voorzien van een handgeschilderd bloemen- en bladmotief dat zich sierlijk rond de brede tuit en de kruikvormige buik beweegt. De tuit is afgezet met een opvallende rand in blauw druipmotief, wat het geheel een expressieve en ambachtelijke uitstraling geeft.

Het stevige oor, volledig in koningsblauw geschilderd, verbindt de tuit met de monumentale buik. De cirkelvormige verhoogde band tussen tuit en buik versterkt de sculpturale vorm en geeft de kan een krachtige, bijna architecturale aanwezigheid. Op de bodem is de kan gemarkeerd met het nummer 38038 F.J. en gesigneerd met de initialen MB, een duidelijke verwijzing naar atelierproductie en artistieke signatuur.

It is richly hand‑painted with floral and leaf motifs that flow across the wide spout and rounded pitcher body. The spout is finished with a striking blue drip‑glaze rim, adding an expressive artisanal touch.

The sturdy handle, painted entirely in royal blue, connects the spout to the monumental body.
