Antieke handgemaakte Franse Confitpot of grespot met 3 oren – eind 19de eeuw

Deze oude Franse grespot met drie oren is volledig handgemaakt en zowel aan de binnen- als buitenzijde geglazuurd. De buitenring, licht naar buiten toe gevormd, is afgewerkt in okergeel glazuur met twee symmetrisch gegraveerde ringen. Aan de oren zijn de afdrukken van de maker zichtbaar, met rondom een gegraveerde lijn. Een klein foutje in de ring – waarschijnlijk door een tekort aan klei – benadrukt het ambachtelijke karakter van dit stuk.

De draairingen van het pottenbakken zijn duidelijk zichtbaar en geven de pot een authentieke uitstraling. De bruine teint van het glazuur en het druipglazuur aan de buitenzijde maken dit tot een charmant object dat zowel decoratief als functioneel inzetbaar is. Leuk in de keuken met pollepels erin, maar ook als sfeervol interieuraccent.
