Rustieke hoge smalle keramische vaas – roestkleurig steengoed met shino glazuur, jaren ’70

Deze hoge, smalle vaas van steengoedklei is met de hand gevormd en heeft een sierlijke naar buiten vloeiende bovenrand en een subtiele vouw langs de buitenzijde. De ietwat ruwe buitenkant toont een rijke roestkleur, versterkt met zwarte en bruine vlekken en lijnen, wat het object een uitgesproken karakter geeft.

Binnenin schittert een diepglanzende shino glazuurbehandeling met een vloeiend en rijk kleurenpalet. De binnenzijde is glad en waterbestendig, waardoor de vaas zowel functioneel als decoratief inzetbaar is.

Deze volledig handgemaakte vaas met haar bijzondere kleuring en textuur getuigt van voortreffelijk vakmanschap. Aan de onderzijde is ze gesigneerd, al blijft de signatuur jammer genoeg moeilijk leesbaar.

Rustic tall narrow ceramic vase – rust‑coloured stoneware with shino glaze, 1970s

This tall, narrow stoneware vase is hand‑formed and features a graceful outward‑flowing rim and a subtle fold running along the exterior. The slightly rough outer surface shows a rich rust‑coloured tone, enhanced with black and brown speckles and lines, giving the piece a distinctly expressive character.

Inside, a deep glossy shino glaze reveals a fluid and warm colour palette. The interior is smooth and water‑resistant, making the vase suitable for both functional use and decorative display.

This fully handmade vase, with its unique colouring and texture, demonstrates excellent craftsmanship. It is signed on the underside, although the signature is unfortunately difficult to read.
